I was a fun and naive 23 year old (a lifetime ago) when I first came to Latin America. Inspired by old Elvis Presley Acapulco Cliff diving movies, myself and a bunch of friends decided that this must be where the fun was at. A long flight from hometown Sydney, first stop Acapulco...last stop Lima, Peru. I fell in love with Latin America straight away as I knew I would, the culture, the people, the gastronomy, the rawness of life, the World Wonders like Machu Picchu mixed with the imperfections and the chaos that make you feel like the human spirit is still well an truly alive.

Peru has been my home for over a decade now. I am married to a beautiful Peruvian wife and have 2 sons, Leonardo and Enzo. Some other notable achievements during my time in Peru include: Playing a Spaniard in a beer commercial and representing the Peruvian National Cricket team on a number of occasions. Most recently in an Official ICC (International Cricket Council) Tournament hosted by Peru in Lima in 2019. During that tournament we organized the accommodation, transfers, logistics and tours for all the Mens, Women´s and Junior International teams, some 250 people in total. I have also served on the Cricket Peru Committee and captained my local club team in Lima.

Uncover Latin America was founded in 2010. Starting with humble beginnings and with the help of my amazing and talented team we have grown our business through recommendations and referrals. We have an amazing community of clients, we have had one couple who has traveled with us 7 times and have organized trips for over 15,000 people over 10 years, ranging from individual travelers to groups of 50 people. Myself and our team, being based locally have traveled extensively through Latin America. Picking up new and exciting experiences along the way that we add to the trips we plan.

Our job is highly rewarding, especially when we hear comments like "this has been a life changing experience". It does come with a lot of responsibility, each new group is different, we need to find out exactly what each client wants and apply our knowledge and expertise to create the best experience.
