Breakfast at your hotel. At the designated time you will take a courtesy shuttle from your hotel to the airport for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival you will be transferred and welcomed aboard your Cruise. After settling into your cabin you will have a briefing presented by the crew. Your specific itinerary will depend upon the cruise that you choose, time of year and weather conditions. In the afternoon you will enjoy a land tour on one of the Galapagos most beautiful islands guided by expert naturalists. In the evening you will settle down to a delicious welcome dinner.

Today you will explore the wonderful bio-diverse Galapagos Archipelago aboard your comfortable Cruise. Your itinerary will depend upon the vessel you choose, time of year and weather conditions. Today you will continue exploring the abundant biodiversity of the Galapagos. This natural laboratory of wonders offers some of the best wildlife in the world. Get up close to with these fearless and exotic creatures. While in your Zodiac you will spot White Tipped Reef Sharks, Sea Turtles, Manta Rays as well as Frigates and Pelicans. Traverse Volcanic Rock spotting brightly colored Iguanas and Lava fields for as far as the eye can see. Witness Blue and Red Footed Boobies perform their awkward mating dance. Snorkel amongst the Sea Lions while they play and tumble around you. Walk along the pristine white sandy beaches getting sand between your toes while watching evolution take place before you eyes.

Another wonderful day in Darwin´s Biology playground awaits, full of colorful, odd and exotic surprises around every corner. Giant Tortoises...born before your great grandparents. Penguins will waddle amongst their raft. Pink Flamingos dance and tip toe their way in unison along the reflective lagoons. An educational visit to the Charles Darwin Research centre. Choose your water adventure activity, Snorkel amongst schools of colorful fish and turtles, Kayak and witness the elegant birds skim inches above the horizon. Enjoy some Sun Downers on the deck or in the Jacuzzi.

Breakfast aboard and depending on your itinerary one last tour before you disembark your cruise. You will be met and transferred to the airport in Baltra for your flight to Quito. Upon arrival into Quito you will take a shuttle to the Wyndham Hotel. Here you will overnight in comfort and convenience near the airport.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the designated time you will take the courtesy shuttle to the airport in Quito for your flight to Cusco (via Lima). Upon arrival into Cusco you will be greeted by our staff who will be holding a sign with your "last name" on it. You will be transferred to your hotel and given a pre-briefing. Free day to acclimatize.

Ask one of our Destination experts for recommendations for dinner. Cicciolina and Chicha are always popular favorites.

Cusco City tour

Today you will be picked up from hotel for your tour of Cusco. We will make our way up to the archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, and start our excursion visiting the fortress with the same name, a beautiful place that radiates peace and quiet, where you will be able to admire the huge rocks measuring up to 4 meters. We will then head to Qénqo, an ancient temple dedicated to the Puma, where you will observe an altar used for sacrifices, and then Tambomachay the sacred fountain of life and health. We will enjoy a panoramic view at Puca Pucara, a watchtower that controlled the entrance to the city. Afterwards we will visit the Temple of the Sun "Korikancha", on top of which the Santo Domingo Convent was built. A legend tells that this temple was entirely lined with gold sheets which brought much enthusiasm to the Conquistadors upon their arrival. Finally, we will go to the Main Square and will visit the Cathedral that houses invaluable colonial paintings and other works of art such as the Cross that arrived with the first Spanish Conquerors. After your tour you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Tour of the Sacred Valley

Pick up from your hotel in morning. Today you will discover the most outstanding sites of the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be the town of Chinchero, the most typical and picturesque of the Sacred Valley where we will appreciate its Inca archaeological complex and its beautiful colonial church. Chinchero is also famous for its weavers, who will teach the ancient Inca techniques for dyeing and spinning with Alpaca wool. We will continue to Moray, a beautiful and curious Inca archaeological complex composed of colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. In Inca times it served as an agricultural laboratory where diverse microclimates were recreated. Lunch at a restaurant in the area. Finally, we end our tour visiting the fabulous archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, a religious, military and agricultural center. We will then make our way down to Ollantaytambo train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the small town below Machu Picchu. Upon arrival you will be escorted to your hotel. Your guide will give you a short pre-briefing about your tour of Machu Picchu. Dinner is included at your hotel. Overnight.

Tour of Machu Picchu

At the designated time you will take the shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu from the town of Aguas Calientes. During the ascent you will appreciate the lush topical cloud forest landscape which is inhabited by brightly colored exotic plants and hummingbirds. Included is a 4 hour visit of Machu Picchu (one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World) and a 2 hour guided tour with your guide. Here you will visit the most important sites such as: The Sun Temple, Intihuatana (Sun Stone), and the room of three windows. Machu Picchu is at the top of everyones bucket list and it is far bigger, grandiose and magical in person than any photo or postcard, making it the most popular destination in Latin America.

Buffet Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge

By lunchtime you will have worked yourself up an appetite! We have included a treat, a buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge. The only restaurant located up at Machu Picchu. Here you will enjoy a delicious spread. After lunch you take the shuttle back down to Aguas Calientes where you will aboard a scenic train ride back to Cusco. Upon arrival into Cusco you will be met and transferred back to your hotel where you will overnight and rest after one of the most memorable and magical days of your life.
