Arrival into Peru´s Capital, Lima
Upon arrival into Lima´s International Airport you will be greeted by our staff holding a sign with your "last name" on it. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Miraflores where you will check in to your hotel and enjoy some free time to rest and relax. You will stay at the Dazzler Hotel which is a modern 4 star hotel with one of the best location in Miraflores.

Introduction to Lima
Today you will be picked up by your guide for the ultimate experience of Lima. We will start our tour by visiting the Plaza De Armas which includes a 16th Century Cathedral, fountains and grand colonial buildings. The perfect introduction to Old Lima. Then we will visit Casa Aliaga Mansion built in 1535 and known for it´s architectural grandeur and history. 

Larco Museum
We will then visit the Larco Museum which is highly regarded as one of the best Pre-Columbian museums in the world. The Larco Museum has been named one of the Worlds Best Museums by Trip Advisor´s Traveller´s Choice Awards. This museum has many different displays that offer visitors a journey through the beauty and history of Peru´s ancient cultures. Meanwhile the warehouse contains an impressive amount of ceramic pieces that depict faces, objects, fruits, birds, and many other aspects of day-to-day life in ancient Peru.

Lima Gourmet Culinary Experience
In the morning you will be picked up for a Gourmet culinary experience. You will enjoy 5 stops spread between 3 districts (Miraflores, Barranco and San Isidro) that includes a visit to an organic Peruvian coffee roaster, a fruit tasting at a local market, you will enjoy a Pisco tasting, hands on cocktail and ceviche class with a professional chef and end the day with a gourmet lunch and dessert at one of Lima´s most esteemed restaurants "Huaca Pucclana" which is conveniently situated right next to the Pre-Incan ruins with the same name. After your lunch you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the designated time you will be picked up and transferred to the airport in Lima for your flight to Cusco. 

Flight from Lima to Cusco
Upon arrival into Cusco you will be met by our staff and you will be transferred to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. You can optionally visit Awanakancha enroute, this is an exhibition center of textiles and Andean camelids. It is considered a living museum and here you can see Andean camelids, learn about the process of shearing and spinning wool to the final product of high quality garments. Afterwards you will be transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley the 5 Star Sol y Luna. Where you will enjoy the pristine and tranquil surrounds of this amazing hotel that captures the spirit of the Sacred Valley. There are many activities on offer at this hotel, an excellent restaurant and a very inviting swimming pool.

Maras & Moray
In the morning we will begin our tour in Moray, where the view is impressive thanks to colossal concentric terraces simulating a large amphitheater. It´s usefulness: recreate 20 different types of micro climates, measurements which ensured the agricultural production of the empire. We will continue to Maras, the famous and ancient salt mines of the colonial era. The contrast of its white wells with the green valley is impressive. 

Taster Menu Lunch
To compliment your experience of Moray & Maras you will enjoy a Tasting Menu lunch at MIL (located next to Moray) which is owned by Virgilio Martinez, the owner of Central in Lima which is ranked the fifth best restaurant in the world. Here you will enjoy 8 courses, each dish reflects the 8 eco systems found at this altitude. Each ingredient, the design, architecture and materials come together to provide the diner with an experience that connects with the Andean cosmovison and the traditions of the communities in the region. After this experience you will be transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley where you will overnight.

Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes
You will be picked up and we will travel to the fortress of Ollantaytambo. The second most impressive archaeological complex you will visit on this trip. Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, religious and agricultural centre.  A large fortress and typical example of urban planning during the Inca empire. 

Traditional Pachamanca Lunch
We will then make our way to the El Albergue Hotel for a Pachamanca Lunch which is a traditional Peruvian meal cooked underneath the ground with hot stones to create a natural hot oven. After lunch you will walk with your guide to the train station in Ollantaytambo where you will take a train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival your guide will escort you to your hotel the Inkaterra El Mapi and will assist you with your check in. Dinner is included at your hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Tour of Machu Picchu
Breakfast at your hotel. We recommend rising early and going up to Machu Picchu at sunrise, that is when the magic happens. You will have 4 hours to explore this incredible World Wonder including a 2 ½ hour guided tour with our local expert private guide. By noon you will have worked yourself up an appetite. We have included a delicious buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge. After lunch you will take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will aboard a scenic train ride back to Cusco where you will be met and transferred back to your hotel the 4 star El Mercado. 

*If you would like to extend your visit of Machu Picchu ask one of our Travel Specialists. You may be interested in hiking up to Hyuana Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain. These hikes are subject to availability. Enquire for more information.

City Tour of Cusco
In the morning your tour of Cusco will begin with a visit of Koricancha Temple, one of the most important buildings in the city where the Inca civilization would worship the Sun God, it was later converted into a convent by the Spanish. Then you will visit the Cusco Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664. Then finally the bohemian neighborhood of San Blas, residence of artists and craftsmen. Discover its streets, between bars, shops and art galleries. After your tour you will be dropped off at your hotel. 

Pisco Tasting
With our sommelier at the Republica Del Pisco Restaurant, you can try a selection of the best Piscos, served in half ounce shots. After your Pisco Tasting you will have the evening free to enjoy at your leisure. Ask one of our Travel Specialists for some restaurants recommendations.
