11 DAY ITINERARY

Our itineraries are second-to-none – We have balanced the best experience possible, including more, while our prices are the most competitive.

Upon arrival into Lima´s International Airport you will make your way through the arrivals doors. Your hotel is conveniently located in the carpark of the airport. A quick walk and no need for transfers. You will appreciate the convenience and comfort after your international flight. Overnight at the Wyndham Hotel. 

Note: Most International flights arrive into Lima late in the evening. All flights for Arequipa depart in the morning, afternoon or early evening.

Breakfast at your hotel at the airport. At the designated time you will walk over to the airport and check in for your flight from Lima to Arequipa. Upon arrival into Arequipa you will be met by our staff holding a sign with your "last name" on it. You will be greeted and transferred to your hotel where you will have a short pre-briefing. Free day to enjoy Peru´s most beautiful city. 

3 Course Dinner included: 
In the evening we have included a 3 course meal at our favorite Arequipa restaurant, Zig Zag. Enjoying a delicious meal in a romantic setting. Overnight at your hotel with the best location in Arequipa the Casa Andina Select.

Arequipa City Tour
In the afternoon you will be picked up for your City tour of Arequipa. We will start our tour at the impressive main square, the most beautiful main square in Peru, which is located next to the impressive Arequipa Cathedral built in the 17th Century. Then we will visit the Monastery of Saint Catherine, built in 1579 which is an authentic medieval cloister and a small religious centre still used to date. We will then visit the Jesuit Church built in 1590, a classic example of Baroque architecture. Finishing the tour with impressive views of Arequipa at Yanahuara and Carmen Alto. After your tour, you will then be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 1 - Colca
Morning pick up for your trip to Colca along the way passing Chachani Volcano, Pampa de Arrieros and the National Reserve of Pampa Canahuas where you will view slender Vicunas. At Patapampa (4800m) you will observe the Volcanoes that surround Arequipa. We will then descend to Chivay for lunch. After lunch you will arrive at your hotel where you will enjoy the relaxing Andean surrounds soaking in the World Class medicinal Hot Springs at our favorite hotel in Peru, the Colca Lodge.

Day 2 - Colca
Pick up and we will head towards the Condor´s Cross near Chivay. It´s here at one of the most stunning parts of the Colca Canyon that we will witness the huge Condors soaring the canyon walls. We will visit the towns of Maca, Achoma and the lookouts of Antahuilque and Choquetico. In the afternoon you will be dropped off at your hotel in Colca where lunch is included. Relax and unwind in the medicinal Hot Springs.

Transfer back to your hotel in Arequipa
Enjoy the relaxing surrounds of your hotel in Colca. In the afternoon you will be picked up for your journey back to Arequipa, along the way you will enjoy lunch. Upon arrival into Arequipa you will be dropped off at your hotel where you will overnight.

Flight from Arequipa to Cusco
At the designated time you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight from Arequipa to Cusco. Upon arrival into Cusco you will be greeted by our staff. You will be transferred to your hotel the El Mercado hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy Cusco at your leisure. 

A La Carta Dinner included:
In the evening we have included a 3 course "A La Carta Dinner" at Chicha which is probably Cusco´s best restaurant. It´s owned by Peru´s most famous chef, Gaston Acurio. Here you will have the Perfect introduction to Peruvian cuisine and also the chance to enjoy International dishes.

Cusco City tour
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel for your city tour of Cusco starting at Koricancha Temple, one of the most important buildings in the city where the Inca civilization would worship the Sun God, it was converted into a convent by the Spanish. Then you will visit the Cusco Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664. You will end the tour visiting the bustling San Pedro market, a place locals trade fresh produce and items from different areas of the region. After the tour you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Tour of the Sacred Valley

Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Today you will visit Awanacancha where you will admire Alpacas and learn about local textiles and natural dyes. Later you will explore the Pisac markets followed by a delicious buffet lunch at Tunupa Restaurant. In the afternoon the tour continues to Ollantaytambo an impressive Inca fortress. After your tour you will be dropped off at the train station in Ollantaytambo where you will take the train to Aguas Calientes. Here you will be met by one of our staff who will escort you to your hotel. Dinner included at your hotel. Tonight you will be staying at the 5 Star, Inkaterra El Pueblo Hotel, in the Junior Suite which has and open fire place in the room.

Tour of Machu Picchu
We recommend rising early and going up to Machu Picchu at sunrise, that is when the magic happens. You will have 6 hours to explore this incredible World Wonder including a 2 hour guided tour with our local expert guide. By noon you will have worked yourself up an appetite. We have included a delicious buffet lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge. After lunch you will take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will aboard the scenic Vistadome Train back to Cusco where you will be met and transferred back to your hotel.

Breakfast at your hotel. At the designated time you will be picked up and transferred to the airport for your flight from Cusco to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima you will connect for your flight departing homeward bound.
